Biography

La Scala Theatre, Milan

He was born in Massa, Tuscany and he began his professional training in 2005 at the Hamburg Ballet School, graduating in 2010. In the same year he joined the Berlin State Ballet Company where he was promoted to demisolist.

In 2015 he joined the Company of La Scala Theatre in Milan where he immediately performed the lead roles in Excelsior, Alexei Ratmansky's Swan Lake and the world premiere of Giardino degli amanti, choreographed by Massimiliano Volpini.

In 2018 he was promoted to Soloist of La Scala Theatre in Milan.

During his career he took part in several productions by John Neumeier such as Romeo and Juliet, The Lady of the Camellias and Nijinsky.

Under the direction of ballet dancer Vladimir Malakhov he is given major roles in ballets such as Esmeralda, Swan Lake, Caravaggio, Clear and The Nutcracker.

In July 2021 he is promoted to Principal dancer under the direction of Manuel Legris
